Hubble turns 25

April 24 was the Hubble Telescope’s 25th Anniversary and the internet has been recognizing its contributions to astronomy and science all week long. Hubble is, of course, known for taking some of the most breathtaking space photos ever. Unfortunately, Hubble’s days are numbered as NASA will longer be able to perform maintenance on it. NASA will continue to operate the telescope from Earth for as long as it can.

Batman v Superman teaser trailer debuts

The first trailer Batman v Superman was finally revealed though not as originally planned. Director Zack Synder tweeted a very short teaser for the film on Wednesday and revealed an official IMAX trailer event would be taking place on April 20. Unfortunately, the full trailer was leaked as phone camera captured footage a day later. This prompted the official release of the trailer. The film hits theaters next summer.

Review – Motorola Moto E 4G LTE

Moto_E_2nd_Gen_1

Smartphones are everywhere nowadays. As of 2013, over 60 percent of the U.S. population owns these super phones. Despite their immense popularity, smartphones are not exactly what you would call affordable. The two most popular phones right now, the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy S6, cost over $600 unlocked at normal retail price. Of course, you can sign a contract with a carrier and receive these phones for a less expensive price but not everyone, myself included, wants to do that.

Unfortunately, there are not many ‘quality’ options for those on a budget. Budget smartphones are notoriously known for being very underpowered, lacking in features and having poor build quality. Enter Motorola who has been making some quality budget devices in the form of their Moto G and Moto E. Their latest offering, the second generation Moto E, is quite possibly the best smartphone you can buy for under $200 in the states. The LTE variant, in particular, offers up hardware on par with current mid-range phones and past high-end phones for the price of a crappy low-end phone.

New Blog Silent Personality Launched!

What’s up everyone?

I just want to let the internet know that I have started a new blog called Silent Personality. This new blog is basically my publishing house for all my creative writing works. I will be posting poems and short stories that I have written throughout my life on this blog. If you are at all a fan of my writing or just want something to do when you are bored, I encourage you to check it out.

The On My Level blog will keep functioning as normal and will remain the main spot for all my media-related features and reviews. I have been wanting to expand into creative writing for awhile now, and I finally decided it would be best to have that stuff on a separate blog.

Thanks for the support guys. Again, you can check my new blog here.
