New Suicide Squad trailer, Wonder Woman footage and more DC movie previews

A new Suicide Squad trailer was revealed on Tuesday during the CW special Dawn of the Justice League. The trailer paints the film in dark but comedic tone. The film is also being compared to Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy as they are both based on lesser known comic book properties and feature unconventional heroes. Suicide Squad set to open in theaters on August 5.

Weekly Wrap-up: 1/10 -1/16

Golden Globe Winners

Revenant and Martian win big at Golden Globes

The Golden Globes wrapped up on Sunday with The Revenant and The Martian taking home the big awards of best drama and best comedy respectively. Leonardo DiCaprio and Matt Damon also took home the best actor awards for those respective films and categories. The big winners in TV were a little more surprising as Mr. Robot won best drama and Mozart in the Jungle won best comedy.

My Most Anticipated Stuff of 2016

Last week I listed my favorite stuff of 2015 and had a few surprises on there. This week I will have fewer surprises for my most anticipated stuff of 2016 list. While 2015 was a great year for video games, movies and tech, 2016 looks to be just as great or, for me personally, even better as there is a ton of media I am looking forward. My Favorite Stuff of 2015

Let’s face it, 2015 was not the best year for the On My Level Blog and certainly not the best year for me personally. However, last year was a great year of new media, entertainment and technology. I can’t remember the last time I went to theaters at least once a month for the entire year. It has also been a long time since there was a video game that all my family and friends enjoyed playing together that was not Smash Bros. And of course, there were plenty of books that released in 2015 that I just haven’t got around to reading. Anyway, here are my favorites of 2015
